Sam and his skin
We have been struggling with Sam's skin conditions for the past several years. Here you can see that he also has dermatagraphia like I do. Here we were just showering him, and the water pressure was enough to cause an allergic reaction to the histamine in his skin, causing these red hives on his face. Sam also has HORRIBLE eczema. He has many dry scaly patches of skin all over his body that itch. When not take care of, he will itch them until the skin is completely rare and hurting all the time. We have him on some steriod cream for these patches, as well as lotioning him every day and giving him Benadryl before bed. Luckily, he loves to take medicine and the Benadryl is a small purple chewable tablet so we call it "purple candy." The dermatologists say he may out grow this eczema by the age of 12. I am keeping that hope alive!
